The Tunesmith is currently in negotiations to purchase a restaurant. Mind you this is in the very infant stages. I have considered this on and off again for appproximately 5 years. I’m still not sure that I am willing to pull the proverbial trigger on this deal. Last night I was thinking of possible names for the restaurant believing that if I came up with a name that I just loved it would force me to finally take the plunge.

If anybody has any feelings for or against the following possible restaurant names please pass them along. If anybody has their own suggestions please pass those along as well. I need a little nudging.

The names that I am currently considering are as follows:
The Stag and Banjo
Jessica Simpson Nude
Wendy’s
Cold Today Hot Tamales
44
Braunschweiger Heaven
Jennifer Aniston Nude
Hack Hebner’s Hot Corner
Tunesmith’s

Again these are just a few ideas I came up with after 5 mojitos. I’m sure you can do a lot better. Again, I need the nudge.

All the critics , including reigning Pope Benedict XVI, are raving about Jon Voight’s performance as Pope John Paul II in the movie with the same name. What else would you expect from The Champ? This man has played everyone from Joe Buck in Midnight Cowboy, FDR in FDR, and Howard Cosell in ALI. He’s a virtual chameleon.

According to Voight ,”The nicest thing about this role is,the dialogue is in Polish.” “If I flub a line who’s going to know? Who really understands Polish anyway?”

Jon may not have actually said that but that’s what I took from it. I don’t understand Polish.

Everybody’s talkin’ at me
I don’t hear a word they’re sayin’
Only the echoes of my mind.
People stop and starin’
I can’t see their faces
Only the shadows of their eyes
I’m goin’ where the sun keeps shinin’
Through the pourin’ rain.
Goin’ where the weather suits my clothes
Bankin’ off of the northeast winds
Sailin’ on summer breeze
And skippin’ over the ocean like a stone
