Wendy Bell-Rachael Ray Update

Well, the Wendy Bell report on Rachael Ray aired and the world didn’t come to an end, but after watching it I sort of wish it had.

Here is a list of memorable Wendy quotes:

“Check it out everybody…”

“We’ll go get nebby”

“Check it out everybody…” (Yes, she said it twice.)

“How would you like 4 beautiful Viking stoves and like, 100 pots and pans?”

“It takes a staff of like, 75 people…”

I don’t consider myself to be a Wendy Bell basher, but c’mon now. She sounds like a 16 year-old girl in this report.

Things that I learned from this piece include there are a “gazillion” lights on the Rachael Ray Show set and Rachael’s refrigerator contains cheese and chicken. Wow! Unbelievable!

The icing on the “gag me” cake? Rachael wears a too-tight shirt with what appears to be lips drawn across her 6th-grader boobage.

   Try though I might to avoid tv news at all costs, I had the misfortune of looking up and spotting a few seconds of Channel 4 Action News this morning — and spotted Wendy Bell wearing the exact same dress that my mom wore to the 1975 GMAC office Christmas party.

   I wonder if Wendy can do the “Alley Cat” as well as my mom could.
