The vast T&A readership surely remembers when I announced that Balla is the official scrotum talc of Tunesmith & Anthony. Well, I received the following email from a Mr. Brodie Patten last night:
Hello! I am from the 'Burgh and one of the co-founders of Balla Powder. I heard that you gave us a shout-out on your blog. Let me know if you are interested in some free product.
At first, I thought it was just someone screwing with me. But after a little Googling, I found a few press releases (here and here) with contact info listed as Mr. Patten and a phone number with a 412 area code.
Be proud Pittsburgh! A native son is behind Balla! That is too cool. And when you think about it, Balla marries together two distinctly Pittsburgh traits: a rich entrepreneurial history and extremely humid summers.
If Mr. Patten hooks me up with some free Balla, I will certainly give it a try and write a review on this here blog.
